Irland: German Studies Association of Ireland

The German Studies Association of Ireland (founded in 1997) aims to promote the study of the language and cultures of the German-speaking countries of Europe. Currently there are more than 20 institutions on the island of Ireland offering German as a subject or academic programmes including German at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The German Studies Association of Ireland provides a forum for lecturers and postgraduate students working in German Studies in Ireland.
